That was really short. And I mean really short. I can see the resemblances with the original game, but I didn't get to see inside the castle aside from the boss battle. I know this is meant to be like an Atari 2600 game, but man is the platforming floaty and stiff. I know it was a bit like this in the original, but still. The music is really repetitive (deliberately so, i'm guessing, but as far as I can tell, most Atari games had no music.) and could do with sounding more like the original lv1 music. I never owned an Atari 2600 myself, but I still enjoyed this nontheles. Its OK considering that this was for a mini ludum dare. 3/5

This game was made targeting the “Atari 2600” resolution (160x192, even though the vertical resolution could be bigger).
This game was made for the 2014's March's Mini Ludum Dare #50, whose theme was “demakes”.
