STORY:

The land of Audaxia was once a place of peace and tranquility. Tourists flocked there year-round to take in the beautiful scenery, and the entire province was always free from evil thanks to the power of the 4 sacred relics. But one day, an ancient demon named Malumest awakened abruptly and stole the relics, giving each one to one of his strongest minions for safekeeping and plunging the whole country into chaos. The brave warrior princess Erin, along with her lover, Jeremiah, set out to take back the relics, but Jeremiah was locked away deep beneath the old castle. With the land of Audaxia in grave danger, Erin has taken it upon herself to rescue Jeremiah and save her home country from total destruction.

GAMEPLAY:

Audaxia combines the simple and addictive fast-paced gameplay of an arcade-style multidirectional shooter with the complex structure of an action RPG game. Begin your adventure by collecting money to purchase much-needed upgrades, killing monsters and earning experience points along the way. Every 1,000 experience that you earn will increase your level, and your maximum attainable level and the maximum amount of money you can hold will both increase as you progress through the game and complete mandatory objectives, allowing you to level up even more and buy better items.

FEATURES & SELLING POINTS:

--Password save system allows for games to be completed in multiple sessions.

--Over 200 unique screens, consisting of a colorful overworld, puzzling dungeons, shops, inns, the homes of NPC characters, and even an area to make a "blood donation" (exchange hit points for money).

--Hints and riddles are provided within the game, and most are not too terribly cryptic. Still, nothing is spoiled for you either, so get that brain of yours fired up!

--5 unique and challenging dungeons, each with their own distinct level hazards.

--Simple and easy-to-learn controls and addictive arcade-style game play make the game easy to just "pick-up-and-play."

--Accurate representation of "NES-style" graphics and music for nostalgic appeal.

--Neat visual effects, such as "tunnel vision" for dark rooms in the final level.

--Features 20 8-bit portraits of real LeroyVision(R) Customers, plus cameos of Matt & Valkyrie from Kill Screen. #retro
