Auditor - "...a person or a firm appointed to execute an audit..."

"The year is 2024. In 2021, after decades of development, the Dufresne Corporation finalised a prototype android to perform surveillance on the population, intended for government use.

These prototypes were designed to blend in amongst the population, reporting back any information deemed to be of interest. They called them Audits.

In 2023, these prototype Audits escaped their testing facility and attempted to integrate themselves into society. The general public are still unaware of their existence.

Your employer would like to keep it that way..."
