Really cool little platformer! It looks amazing, and the gameplay is very solid. Congrats! Another shining example of what Flixel--err, Stencyl is capable of!

An okay game. Reminds me of Solomon's Key and Montezuma's Revenge.

This is the first chance I've gotten to play this game, and it's awesome! I'm not just saying that. I think you used the same software as me and I don't know how you pulled some of this stuff off. Very professional and well done!

Neat little game. Couple of notes:
The heart/gem system seemed arbitrary, especially seeing as I can restart the level (even from a checkpoint) at any time. Nice to see a different approach but I dunno if it really works.
Occasionally on entering/restarting a room, movement would slow to a crawl. It could usually be fixed by restarting again (also didn't seem to affect running).

Classic action platformer with retro graphics, chiptunes and old school gameplay.

In-game controls:

ARROW KEYS : Walk, duck, climb and slide
ARROW KEY UP : Use Switch/Scroll
X or SPACE BAR : Jump/Swim
Y or Z : Sprint

R : Restart level from checkpoint and recharge lives (disabled in "Hard Mode")
U : Unlock chambers 1-20
M : Mute music
ESC or RETURN : Return to main menu

Object of play:

Collect the key to unlock next chamber's entrance.
Collect all gems to get a live or a purple gem.
Avoid bats, scorpions, pitfalls and other nasty things.
Read the scrolls in the game mindfully.
