Brain Dungeon
This is the post-jam version of Brain Dungeon, but if you want to get the original, you can go to the itch.io page or the mini jam 75 page on itch. This version includes such fixes as:
- the tileset for the floor no longer burns my eyes
- the boss is able to kill you and has more health
- the enemies now get stronger as you progress
- the weight mechanic isn't nearly as annoying anymore
The original game was made in three days for Mini Jam 75: Wisdom, but this version took a week of bug fixing and other changes. It is a simple twin-stick shooter where you are trying to get to the end and become all-knowing. But that is pretty hard when enemies are only getting stronger and more common. This post-jam version has a much more toned-down weight mechanic, making it optional and only for certain upgrades. #roguelike #shooter #retro
