Part of the game's fun is to figure things out for yourself, so peeping below this might spoil more than you bargained for! I promise I didn't put any more flavor text down there.
Controls
Burger Game uses only the mouse. You click most things to interact with them. You can use the keyboard to type numbers into the relevant UI controls, but buttons are provided to do this for you.
Click with the mouse to pick up ingredients, click again to release/place the ingredient.
Click on the bell to serve what's on the plate.
Click on the portrait to view the current order and its constituent components.
Click on the monitor to view your last order's score and value and again to place back.
Click on the clipboard to:
View your stock that you can't see around your workstation.
View the day's demand for each ingredient.
Place an order buy adjusting your requested stock and pressing "Order".
Quit to the main menu by using the "Quit Job" button.
Click on any non-interactive part of the clipboard to place it back on the wall.
