Calling Of A Hero

simply awesome. good game

just finished the game in version 0.2.0 (spoiler - rescued Anya from the mountains and beat the wolf boss - he was one tough nut to crack but Wrath of Azdum fears no wolves!) and i have to say that this was one of the best experiences i had with a game made on RPGMaker in a while!) the title screen looks fantastic - i love the visual style that kinda reminds me of Final Fantasy while still having its own unique twist, the whole game works perfectly - i haven't found any bugs while playing it, good job on that!)

i also love the various small, but nonetheless cool details about the game - the fact that you can interact with a lot of objects in the game's map is great and is a rare (but great) thing of in the realm of RPG Maker games, the character designs are all great - Anya for best girl! also, Mason stands out as a main character because of his cool design - i love him, great guy! the various side characters like Steele and Anya's mom are also done pretty nicely. i liked that you could interact with everyone at the bar and the signs in the towns and the roads telling where to go were great - love the attention to details!)

my only two complaints is that, firstly, the encounter rate of goblins in the cavern is a bit too high - you can't make 5 steps and those green bastards come back again - luckily they aren't much of a threat once you hit level 2 as Mason, and the other complaint is that Anya's face looks kinda... strange? i don't know how to put it, but she looks kinda... masculine? like a guy, i don't know, but she's still best girl regardless of her looks.

all in all, this was a blast to play through - a pretty good RPG with an engaging and very nicely done plot, great and interactive enviroments to explore and amazing characters!) although there is still room for improvement, i hope that the game will become more and more interesting with every new update!) take care!
