Now that is a pretty unusual game premise. :)
Also, it seems I may be doomed to wander the earth for eternity as a cat-fingered and cat-everything-elsed monstrosity.

X to jump over potholes, Z to crouch under cranes.
It all starts when one of your fingers is weirdly turned into a cat, but then the cat begins to spread to the rest of your hand! Thankfully, you know that the best way to get rid of cats is to spray them with plenty of water. Run to the car wash as fast as you can before the cats take over your body!
Use X to jump and Z to crouch as you run nonstop to the nearest car wash to wash off your cat infection, but there are obstacles along the way. Pot holes and cranes are in the way to slow you down, and time is precious as the cats are taking over your body. Cat food flies at you as you run, which feeds the cats and causes them to get bigger! Win the game by making it to the car wash and freeing yourself from those cats, but you lose if the cat meter is full and they take over your body.
Made for #gbjam using only four colors with a Game Boy theme based on the Steven Universe episode by the same name.
