When I started my game dev journey, I assumed I'd be stuck at a dead-end job barely making end's meet. That's where I was, until my high school football skills landed me a scholarship at Harvard (for game dev purposes). After completing my courses, I would go home and work on games all night. I kept my roommate up until 3 in the morning one time!
One day, however, I got this idea. Me and my roommate both loved it and jokingly started a Kickstarter campaign to fund the game.
3. Million. Dollars. We were both in shock. We knew we wouldn't be able to afford all the promises we gave backers in our college dorm room, so we bought a $300,000 studio in Burbank, California and made it our headquarters.
About 3 years later and 20,000 chimp masks produced (I regret setting that backer reward), we are here. I hope you all can enjoy the climax of our journey.
