You've been captured by scientists and had your memory wiped. You have no idea who you are or where you are. While you're captured and tested on, someone comes and stabs a syringe in your arm. The syringe gives you otherworldly supernatural powers. You begin to see strange imagery, and then you black out.
You wake up with an odd feeling.
A feeling of strangeness, a feeling of power, a feeling of rage. You escape your bonds, and begin murdering everyone there with various advanced superpowers. Suddenly, the feeling wears off and your powers go away.
You fall asleep again, and wake up in an alleyway, in a big city. Enter the city of Cadian. You get ganged up by several thugs, and then get saved by a strange man. You learn how to control and master your abilities, but you are a wanted man. You get chased, hunted, and captured every day, but if you truly master your abilites, you'll be able to escape, with a new life.
