What do you think?

If some of the textures seem blurry, try restarting the game. Its a bug that has to do with the plugins I use for Dead Carnival, which may take a while for me to fix.

This updates more so just quality of life + a few Easter eggs, so here we go: 1. Added bear traps around the map after Night 1 2. Adjusted sound effects for throwable objects 3. Made the gasoline can throwable 4. Added multiple gasoline cans to night 1 (instead of just the singular) 5. Added a throwable cardboard box (For anyone wondering, you can use these on the bear traps to go through) 6. Optimized and tweaked the night end sequence 7. Added more shrubs around the map 8. Dead Carnival is a purgatory-like carnival you must destroy for a better afterlife, inspired by Mind The Clown.

Dead Carnival is in indie horror game inspired by Mind The Clown by Coast City Games set in a purgatory-like carnival where you must survive a tall clown while completing tasks and keeping your energy up before 6:00AM.

Subject 001 - The Dead Carnival.

The Dead Carnival is one passed down through many folklore, thought to be a made up thing to scare people away from suicide. However, when a team of people investigated it only to be found dead within a matter of weeks - People noticed something.

It is commonly said that all the scary factors adjust to your fears or weaknesses, for example, if It's foggy its said to represent "foggy" memory and/or slurred speech from being drunk.

Theres many obstacles described about the dead carnival - Poisoned food, an entity that takes many forms, and the fact that the carnival almost "feels like a maze."

Whether this is all true or not is not yet revealed to the public, and people speculate it likely never will.

Gameplay 001 - Managing Tasks

This section will stray away from the lore, and instead focus purely on the gameplay/tasks you do in-game.

I wont go too in depth (to avoid spoilers.) If you want to see what it might look like before downloading, check out the trailer down at the bottom.

First off, theres this unique stamina mechanic. Think of some games, that have an energy bar that slowly drains over time. In Dead Carnival, this bar acts as stamina, and only drains when you move. To restore it, simply consume anything non-poisoned, or activate generators as those also give a boost. Once its drained all the way, your Health bar starts to go down, and your suddenly very slow. If you die, you must restart the entire night.

And about those non-poisoned consumables, thats another mechanic - Poisoned food. Around the map are consumables you must eat/drink to manage stamina and Hp. However, some of these are poisoned, which you can tell from blood stains and a darker look to them. If consumed, a yellow biohazard bar will appear and slowly drain over time. While its above 0, your max Hp and Stamina are limited to just 35. Of course, anything non-poisoned will fix this.

Theres also the clown, but hes basic. He just roams the map and once he hears/sees you, he sprints full force with a sound cue to let you know hes coming. And once he catches up, your options are limited. Either A, run and pray, or B, give up.

Each night has its own task you must do before the clock hits 6:00. Of course, since these tasks are major spoilers, check out the trailer if your interested in seeing what they would look like.
