Decaying Hope

Decaying Hope is a 2D isometric survival "horror" game, taking inspiration from classic survival horror games.

Story

"It was march 28 when the infection attacked the city, nobody was prepared for a situation like this, in just matter of days, the city had fallen to the infection..."

In Decaying Hope you play as Carlo, a special forces police operator, who is caught in between the chaos of a decaying city, finding your brother and escaping the city will be your priority.

Mechanics

Decaying Hope is being built with classic survival horror games gameplay mechanics in mind; solving puzzles, exploring and inventory administration will be key elements to survive your journey.

Tutorials, objetive indicators and other game mechanics that take the player by the hand will be pretty much non-existent; your player book will be the only item where you can learn the basics.

Non-forgiving gameplay will be characteristic, it will be punishing but also rewarding, it will be hard but not impossible. You will no be able to go out gun blazing, so proper tactics will be needed if you want to progress in the story.
