You start as a demon, a random general for a god who appears to be you. He affectionately refers to you as the time god, as you can always "load" when you make a wrong choice. Or not, its all up to you how you want to mess with your demon follower. There are RPG elements to expand on the choices matter system. That is where 'Time powers' comes in handy!
Gameplay:
Side scrolling battles with 2.5D map exploration. The best example is Summon Night, but with platforming and magic attacks.
Features:
-Multiple endings (many are badly hidden secret endings)
-Friend system(Actions you take in battle and choices influence characters highly.)
-Game-ception (There are games within this game...ok, just a load of features.)
-Run a hero guild! (Game-ception)
-Run a business (Game-ception till you get bored and continue!)
-Actual branching storyline (Things will change from the starting choice!)
-Due to the many paths, each path will be shorter than the typical RPG...(all except one hidden one that can only be unlocked with hints from the other paths. Have fun!)
-Your suggestions! (I will add ideas you toss, even though I have plenty.)
What I need help with (or a team?) (will improvise if not helped, so yeah.):
-Development Team (Trust me when I say, this is an ambitious game I am attempting to make, help me create the world my mind wants to conceive.)
-Music (I am no musical genius, If you fancy yourself a picasso, send me some boss battle music or calm map music.)
-Programmers (I will obviously be handling all the programming, but a little help when I ask how to do this and that go's a long way)
-Art (Character sprites for main hero's and villains. I can fish the rest from open source sites).
I make this game so that you can experience the world that came to me in a dream that I never wanted to forget. I am a team player, and am by no means a pro, but as a perfectionist (on my own work anyways), I promise no crappy controls, smooth movement, satisfying combat and a story that will melt your hearts.
(P.S. Plot already written. Willing to adjust for team.)
This is Demon Quest.
(Note: The game is heavily emphasized on how you act! Kill one slime too many and the creatures of the forest may try to start a war! Just one example.)
