DONTFORGET (Undertale / Deltarune Online Fangame)

DONTFORGET is a fan-made continuation of the indie role-playing game "UNDERTALE".

Comprised of a singleplayer Story Mode and a multiplayer Online Mode, this project aims to expand on the world, mechanics, and meta elements of UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE in unique ways!

Both modes will follow a new story set after the events of Undertale's neutral route. A human named Harlow finds themselves lost in the Underground, a hidden world of monsters below the Earth's surface, ten years after a tragedy referred to by monsterkind as the "Angel's Fall".

In order to return to the surface, Harlow will need to follow the guidance of their "Guardian Angel", a mysterious voice that answers their call for help, as they traverse the Underground and delve into its darkest depths...

Currently, the Online Mode can be played right now in early access, available as a standalone version of the game titled DF CONNECTED! In this game, you can join a large server powered by GameMakerServer to play online with other players from across the globe! You can explore a reimagined Underground, encounter familiar foes with new tricks, make new friends to chat with, choose from over 50 playable characters, and much more!

Whether you're looking for your next adventure, or just want a space to hang out with other UT/DR fans, DF CONNECTED has something for you! You can join the fun on the latest version of the game, version 2.7.14, with the next major update slated for release in Summer 2025!

We're also hard at work on the Story Mode, which we're planning to release across four chapters, starting with Chapter 1 in version 3.0. From 3.0 onwards, both modes will be packaged together as one download! Future chapters will be released as they get made, with Online Mode receiving further content updates alongside the new chapters as well!

• DONTFORGET is one of the oldest ongoing Undertale fan-projects, having been in active development since 2016! There have been multiple iterations of the project released over the years, culminating into what it is today! • Thank you for the offer! If we're ever looking for new team members, we will release a post on this page announcing the application period. For now we have enough team members, but we appreciate your interest!

Can I use a track from the OST for something I'm making?

• Yes, you can use DF's OST as background music in YouTube videos, streams, or podcasts, as long as credit is provided!

Can I use Harlow in my game/comic/animation?

• Of course, we're happy to see Harlow appear in other projects! For unofficial appearances, we just ask that you provide credit for them!

Can I make a fan-project based on DONTFORGET?

• If you'd like to make a mod, comic, animation, or even a fan-game based on DONTFORGET, please go right ahead! We'd be happy to see it! We just ask that they're clearly marked as being unofficial!

Is the official name of the project "Don't Forget" or "DONTFORGET"?

• The official way to write the project's name is "DONTFORGET", in all caps and no spaces. This is to keep it stylistically consistent with "UNDERTALE" and "DELTARUNE", which are also written in all caps and no spaces. However, writing it as "Don't Forget" is still fine, too!

Will this project ever be fully completed?

• Truthfully, I can't answer this for sure... but there's a story that I really want to tell with this game, and I want to see it through to the end.

  It's been over 9 years since I started this project, and I don't want to stop until I've achieved what I set out to do: to make something special for the game that has meant so much to me.

  I don't know how long it will take, but I want to finish this.

  So, until then... "don't forget", okay?
