Story

Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell. Many years later, a human child climbed Mt. Ebbot and fell into its decrepit caverns. They stumbled upon a talking flower who taught them the law of the underground: "KILL or BE KILLED." The human unfortunately listened to this. Then they went on a genocidal rampage, killing everyone in their sight. They repeated this several times. As a result from the repetition, someone named Sans was driven mad. He decided to "free" everyone from the human's genocide by killing them. Countless monsters were killed upon sighting, with the intention to obtain their EXP, and gain LOVE. But his brother, Papyrus, refused to let that happen. When Sans attempted to confront Papyrus to give him an explanation of why he had to be killed... Papyrus murdered Sans in self-defense. The sins crawled through his spine. The regret eventually drove him to insanity as well. He decided to complete his brother's goal. He decided to kill the remainder of the monsters in the underground. The human encountered Papyrus multiple times, until Papyrus had nowhere to run when they reached the Final Corridor... And this is where our story unfolds...
