What do you think?

Some little things that need to be improved (considering it's early access these things are excusable, just giving you a headsup):

  • After defeating all enemies in a battle the game should display a sort of "enemy defeated" animation on the enemies before going to the win screen

    • The win screen should require you to press a key to continue

    • When a battle starts there should be a sort of "entering battle" transition instead of going straight into the battle

    • Battle attack animations seem a bit slow and sluggish at times, all you really need to do is increase the speed that it plays at

    • Occasionally the font seems hard to read, maybe find a way to change it a bit?

    • Battle music doesn't loop too well, it's either game maker's fault or there's unnecessary silence after the song finishes

I'm assuming you're adding music and sound effects? If you need any help I'm a musician

Overall it seems like a fresh new take on pokemon-type games with more RPG elements, looking forward to later releases

This is a fantastic start to a great monster collecting game. I love being able to have the protagonist fight in battles and learn moves from items. The game would benefit greatly from better transitions between scenes.

I have run into a game breaking bug however. Hydia has this one super strong dude and if you talk to him you can't choose to say no to his fight. Worst yet, from then on whenever you enter any building you are forced to fight him again.

For a game that is still in development this is looking fantastic.

DEMO TIPS

Here are a few things that haven't yet been made clear in the Demo that you might otherwise miss.

-You capture new evobeasts by using rings from the item menu.
-Go to the clinic and travel through the portal in the back to manage your team and heal up.
-The screen button you set is used to toggle between windowed mode and full screen.
-The help button has been disabled while we work out some bugs in it.
