Gigoia Studios presents FACES - virtual exhibition, a collection of paintings and drawings from brazilian designer Carlos Monteiro.
The artworks were created in the years 2009 to 2013, in which the artist made heavy use of oil pastels technique.
Carlos was inspired by Egon Schiele, Oscar Kokoschka and Lucian Freud to compose dramatic faces, people with expressive gazing and communicative strong personalities. Melancholy, doubts, at rest or questioning who look at them.
