🐱 Instructions for Five Nights at Dylan's 2
Welcome back, night guard. The horrors of the past have been rebuilt, and this time, the threat is magnified. Get ready for a terrifying, sleepless adventure. Follow these instructions to survive another five nights at the new establishment!
🎯 Objective:
Your goal is to survive five nights at the newly-renovated, far more expansive location, where a lot more Dylans lurk in the shadows. Unlike the previous location, you have no doors. You must rely on a new set of tools and minimal power to ensure your safety until 6 AM each night.
🎮 How to Play:
1. The Cat Mask 🎭
This is your primary defense. When a Dylan enters your office, immediately put on the Cat Mask by clicking the corresponding button or icon.
The mask tricks the wandering Dylans into thinking you are one of them, causing them to usually move along.
Timing is crucial. Put it on too late, and you will not survive.
Do not keep the mask on for too long if no one is there; you need to conserve power for the other tools.
2. Use the Flashlight 💡
You have a limited-battery flashlight to check the main hallway and the two side vents leading into your office.
Shine the light by holding the designated button. This is essential for spotting threats approaching from the main hall.
Certain distant threats may be pushed back or temporarily stunned by a quick flash of light.
Use it sparingly! The flashlight’s battery is separate from the building's main power but just as precious.
3. Monitor the Cameras 📹
Navigate the building using the security cameras. You can switch between rooms to track the movement of the multiple Dylans.
Keep a close eye on the vents and high-traffic areas. Tracking their movement is key to knowing when to deploy the Cat Mask.
Your camera use draws from the main building power, but less than in the previous game.
4. The Music Box 🎶
Some areas, particularly one deep in the building, may require you to wind a Music Box via the camera system.
Failing to wind the Music Box will result in a specific, dangerous threat activating. Check on it often.
✅ Tips for Survival:
Vigilance is Power: The threats can approach from the main hall and both the left and right air vents simultaneously. You must manage all three points of entry.
Flash-and-Mask Tactic: Use the flashlight to check the hall quickly. If a threat is visible and close, drop the monitor and immediately apply the Cat Mask.
Prioritize the Music Box: Never let the Music Box fully unwind. It should be a constant priority as you check the Dylans.
Good Luck, Night Guard! Stay sharp, stay masked, and try to make it to 6 AM.
