Really nice game with good graphics. It needs something else, maybe powerup items and more options but it's very good anyway.
That's really interesting game I like it a lot :)
By far the best one of the series. It's been a year already?! Haha. I think you're taking a step in the right direction with this art style.
Once I got to 100k, the score started ramping up pretty quickly. My game ended at around 250k due to a bunch of black arrows clobbing together. The movement of the enemies got a little buggy when the screen was cluttered, but it's not due to poor programming, just the inability of them to move around freely.
All in all, the visuals are what made this game more than your average FKR. Experiment with these kind of graphics. Sure, I enjoyed the eye-raping effects of the previous games, but this one will get the most replayablility by me because it wasn't a total strain on the eyes.
I really thought the game was well made with its graphics and awesome music, but I think it lacks a bit of fun gameplay. It seems like you put a really nice amount of work on this game though and so I thought that you deserved a good rating. Nice job on the game, but try working on making it more fun! :P
By the way, what does FKR stand for?
The graphics were quite nice, but I felt the game itself was far to easy, I got to about 150,000 points before I got bored and quite by basically moving my mouse in little circles. I think a larger playing area (relative to the player size/range) and occasional super deadly enemies would make this a really good game.
Happy 2013! To celebrate what is fast approaching my tenth anniversary of using GameMaker, FKR7 is the first ever total rewrite of FKR. Now uses physics, better mechanics, better everything - it's nearly a game again! :|
