I am really enjoying this gae, but I am wondering if it is something you have to play for only a day because there isn't a way to save so when I load it up it makes me restart again. I would love to be able to save so I can continue with the plants progression. I also love the book options!
Oh no, the poor plants! :D Funny idea, the game worked nicely for me and I like the graphics style. Unfortunately I'm not good at this though. Why are you doing this to those poor plants, grandma, by sending them to me? ;)
I hope this was nice to work on, it seems like it would have been. You certainly managed to get a good feel to the apartment. Despite the silent protagonist I kind of feel like you get to know them from poking around, reading bits of books and listening to some music. It's a nice approach, and the game feels very meditative too, so you end up thinking about who lives there more too.
Funny how keeping house plants is meant to be this zen thing, but so many people find it stressful. We have a bunch and there's always a couple that look a bit sickly, we have a very sad looking monstera at the moment ha ha.
Hmm. This was a really stressful game. When I got the spray bottle, it wouldn't fill up. I put it in the sink, and it's still empty. I used that as a convenient excuse to stop playing :-D
Hey, your game sounds awesome! I’d recommend doing the following to turn it into a bigger success on Game Jolt!
1. Post about your game, news and updates in as many communities as it makes sense! Communities like Game Dev or Arts n Crafts will get your posts in front of thousands of users! Find more communities here: https://gamejolt.com/communities.
2. Write a bio on your profile. A complete profile always looks more legitimate in the eyes of the community. This is a great place to add in your website or other social channels.
3. Post and update your followers frequently to stay on their radar!
Your grandmother has instructed you to take care of her apartment and a lot of house plants for the next three weeks. Keep the plants healthy or let them die while you read some classic short stories by writers like Kielland, Hemingway and Kafka!
