The Super Mario Bros. Movie, but with the addition of Boyfriend and Girlfriend from hit game Friday Night Funkin'! Or is it? Mario Movie Mayhem tells the story of how a depressed plumber and his little brother find their way to the Mushroom Kingdom, with a blue haired midget and his girlfriend. While Mario and Boyfriend are sent to the Mushroom Kingdom, Luigi and Girlfriend are sent to a darker, and more frightening realm, called the Darklands. As the normal story of the Mario Movie progresses, the more things start to get disrupted due to Boyfriend and Girlfriend's presence. Not only do Mario and Boyfriend have to save Luigi and Girlfriend from the hands of bowser, but they also now have to save the mushroom kingdom from collapsing upon itself due to the mismatched storyline. Will the four friends be able to succeed? Or will they be lost in the forgotten world once known as the Mushroom Kingdom? Find out in Mario Movie Mayhem!
