What do you think?

it's funny!

Nice little game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the Asylum Jam games, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/Kp_u-vcj5Lw

Not worth my time. A jumpscare saying "AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" physically on the screen (not even a sound is heard in this game) isn't going to scare me. Mechanics are broken. Even at the poor excuse for a jumpscare, foxy doesn't even appear.

Anyone got a vid of this ? It looks fun but I can't play it.

My son Evan (11) and I decided to spend Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning taking part in #asylumjam2017! Because he's a huge fan of jump scare horror games and Five Nights at Freddy's in particular, I thought it would be fun to create a #fnaf style fan game. Something simple, only lasts 5 minutes, and it just focuses on his favorite character, Foxy.

Right now, the feedback (banging on doors, Foxy's attack, etc.) are more implied than shown, so we plan to return to this soon to add more of Foxy's presence, as well as sound, which we just didn't have time to get to for the jam.

So look out for an update soon!

Also, let me know if you're curious how any of it was done. I used Photoshop with generic textures to create the hallways and piece together the office backgrounds, and we coded the logic in AGS script. Evan made most of the design decisions, based on what he's figured out about how these games work. I think it came out pretty nifty for a few hours of work, and I'm really excited to have finally gotten to take part in Asylum Jam!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Click any of the three monitors to see a closeup of the security camera image and navigate between the different sources. Click the buttons above the doors to close them. Watch your power drainage, as using doors and cameras will drain your power faster and faster!

Can you last... FIVE MINUTES WITH FOXY?
