The story is... different, I suppose. It was kinda depressing in the way it makes you think about how people get bullied and how people release the built up emotion in them. The way Elliot used the headphones almost felt like he was abusing them in a way because he intentionally hurt by using brainwashing and mind control. After the story was over, I felt like he was still alone, even if he found people to stick around. Maybe it was the lack of other sprites or sound? I don't know, but it still felt sad the entire way through. It wasn't bad for a kinetic novel. I feel like it served the purpose of a kinetic novel quite well; to share a story in a VN style.
