What do you think?

Decent concept and the house and money resource systems could potentially be interesting twists. As it stands winning seems somewhat random due to the ai-driven nature of the game, which obscures the relation between player action and game response, and the clipping sound effects are unfortunate.

Really fun game when you have someone to play against. You should add some screenshots of it to this Game Jolt page! I included it in part 1 of my Community Jam compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :)

Good Citizens

You are one of the brothers fighing for the right to rule the kingdom, but you never liked to get your hands dirty... what will you do? Get others to fight for you! Brilliant! Get Peasants to cooperate with you by throwing gold at them or by being your royal self near them.

Controls.

Moving:

  • Keyboard 1: W, A, S, D

  • Keyboard 2: Up, Left Down, Right (arrow keys)

  • xBox: Left stick

Throw money:

  • Keyboard 1: 1

  • Keyboard 2: 'M'

  • xBox: A

Scramble Peasants:

  • Keyboard 1: 3

  • Keyboard 2: '>'

  • xBox: X

Game info;

  • Circle of influence: Peasants within your influence circle will be encouraged to fight for you. The closer you are the louder you can yell into their ears and Peasants will listen to you faster!

  • House doors: Option one, move your Player towards a door to spawn a couple villagers that will fight for you. Option two, throw money at the house that will surely get their atttention!

  • Throwing money: The longer you hold the Throw money button the farther it will travel. Whenever the money lands, Peasants within that area will be encouraged to fight for you.

  • Fighting: Peasants get close and smack you.

  • Parrying: You start with 3 parries (max) and they can slowly regenerate. Parries get used up when defending against single peasant attacks (you'll still receive some damage).
