I keep dying. The world is unfair.
First this game glitched out, then it was really loud and I had no idea what to do. :/

Great entry but desperately needs instructions on what to actually do to earn points. Ended up trying everything in the book to earn points e.g. going to each square or trying to shoot at the comets.
Sorry if I missed the purpose of the game as I can assume it would be fun if you had had an explanation of the point.
Ha ha, known issue with the score: your score on the leaderboard does not count kills you make AFTER you die. That is, if you spray a bunch of bullets everywhere, and then die... all those bullets won't increase your score. It is high-score at the moment of death that counts: play to win!

Gunship Souls takes place in a far distant future, in a solar system riff with turmoil. You play as "Pilot", one of the last organic gunship pilots. Pilot has a bone to pick with a king who lurks in space, behind vast armies of drones and ancient pilots who sacrificed their humanity and merged with the steel and ceramics of their gunships.
ATTENTION: it seems the leaderboard only works... for me! Other players have reported that their scores are not being recorded. That's OK folks, I'll fix it once the jam is done.
This is my #indiesvspewdiepie entry, and it is done! (unless it crashes, in which case let me know)
