Loved it, but one thing's for sure: I would make a terrible rescue pilot. I did manage a rescue at level 18, but who knows how many passengers died in the deep ocean today.
I found that the ship did tend to sink rather quickly at the highest difficulty levels. It just got swamped by the first/second wave. But I guess that's the rough seas - gotta be tough out there.

I've seen a 2D flash game almost just like this, don't remember the name though.
But this game is has a ton more awesome to it! :D 4/5

Left mouse button - Lower hoist
Right mouse button - Raise hoist
Change the difficulty with the wind slider on the bottom left, or with A/D keys before starting the game.
