Really nice job for 3 hours! I included it in my 3 hour game jam compilation video series! http://youtu.be/LBTtbtPIhJQ
This game was done for the 3 Hour game Jam (weekend of 19/20 april of 2014).
Definitely one of my most frantic code sessions in which i'm pretty positive i achieved a "super" psychological state called Flow. I don't recall much of the stuff that i did, it just felt like it was 3 hours of pure bliss, code and drawing. It's also not the first time that i get in this state but, it never happenned while coding.
The theme of the jam was "Simultaneous", i associated that with the possibility of performing 2 tasks at the same time under a time constraint.
To play 1 of the in-games, you can use the arrow keys to jump and move, in this game you are supposed to get to the far end of the level; the other in-game is your homework, 20 questions that you must answer by pressing the key 1, 2 or 3 (Not on the numpad). You have 1 minute to finish both games and if you don't you fail.
The game is not totally complete, there were planned some more obstacles on the platform game and a longer level as well, with a simple boss but the 3 hour countdown timer reached 0 and i was startled by the sound it make and i stopped all development at that moment.
Had one hell of a time during this jam, and i have to admit that game jams are just excellent to occupy your time and to make you work harder to reach a certain goal. A shame that i'll probably won't be able to join Ludum Dare :(
