Hopefell

“Hopefell: an Undertale Story” is an Undertale fangame project developed in Godot that aims to be an original adaptation of some of the ideas and themes of Underfell.
You will explore an Underground where monsters have lost all hope. Some monsters might try to gain power or meaning in this world, while others struggle to live in their own way.

Throughout your adventure MERCY won’t be an option: if a monster is threatening you, they won’t leave you alone so easily.
This doesn’t mean you won’t be able to go your way without resorting to violence!
You can try to distrACT your enemies and SAVE yourself by escaping.
Sometimes you might encounter dangerous monsters attacking an innocent one, in this cases you might try to SAVE them:
SAVEing an innocent monster, some attacks aimed at them will be redirected at you instead, these will appear as crimson-colored and by pressing ‘Z’ at the right time you might stop them from hitting the monster you’re defending.
If the monster is able to escape, they will be grateful to you and might reward you with ITEMs and GOLD.

The characters of the original Undertale will be present, with their core personalities intact, but different circumstances might have profoundly changed them and their relationships.
Some of them might have become EVIL supervillains, some might have dedicated themselves to defending the innocents and opposing despotic rulers, while others might bury their true selves underneath layers of irony.

The game will be obviously inspired by UNDERTALE © 2015 by Toby Fox, Temmie Chang & Co. and by Underfell by Vic the Underfella and the community.
