I don't like, the button "Fire" doesn't work, it's always the same. I didn't have fun and after 3 min of killing same fishes I felt bored and so I quitted. Sorry but this game doesn't deserve the first place...
Loved it. I can see my self playing it again and again. It's more amusing with a friend (I believe). Only thing that's bothersome is that you aren't able to change player's controls. Controls are cool if there are 2 players playing. But if I'm playing alone it's annoying that I can't have more space between my hands for ship's control, and weapons.
Also, you could add a health bar above those enemies that don't die with 1 hit. It even doesn't need to be visible all the time. Player could see the HP bar when he hits the target.
All in all: cool game. Want to see & play the final version, and keep up the good work! q:]
Good underwater shooting game. It's kinda repetitive until boss shows up but at least power ups are plenty
I like the story
This is Neopix Games entry for #indiesvsgamers game jam.
Your father was absent throughout your childhood. Your mother told you he was eaten by a scary sea monster called Octobear, but you always thought she was lying to you. Many years later you are an accomplished AI engineer who stumbled upon an article which describes a sighting of a monster from your mother's story. It is up to you to go hunt down the Dread Octobear.
Play alone or with a friend, and fight your way through waves of all kinds of sea enemies until you reach the mythical Octobear.
Player 1 controls:
Move with the arrow keys and shoot with "." key. Press "/" key to use your special weapon.
Player 2 controls:
Move with WASD and shoot with V. Press B to use your special weapon.
