I think you should try to use your your own player sprites instead of the template ones from gamemaker. It will make your game look more professional.

You, an explorer, enter a temple to retrieve the mysterious {idol}, claimed to be the origin of reality, giving the user incredible power. After a glitch in the game, you are sent to an unknown area with one aim, to escape the temple. Using your powers, you must alter the game code to solve puzzles and move to the next room.
This game is an entry into #glitchjam which I hope to work on more in the future. It is quite short, unintentionally buggy and possibly confusing. Controls are Left ,Right, Up and Down to move, and mouse click to edit objects. The editor requires you to press numbers to edit lines of code and backspace to exit/execute.
