I remeber back in 2015 when I saw commercials for Splatoon and wanted it so bad! Then, later down the line, I found this fan game, and even later, i got Splatoon 2. Thanks for giving me a taste of Splatoon back then :D

When you first open 'Inkling's Nightmare', you are an inkling who has had
a dream where you are confronted with some occurrences from the past'.
(This must explain the constant use of splash walls, target dummies, different colored ink, and the squid beakon.)
I'd feel it necessary to add more main weapons for the player to interact with. I've jotted down a few mains and their subclasses below, I'll leave it up to you to pick the series/variant.

In this game, an inkling has a dream in which he gets confronted with some occurrences from the past. It's a demo of a Splatoon engine I made in GameMaker: Studio. If you have ideas on how to turn this into a full cohesive game or other feedback, I'm interested in hearing it.
You can control it with mouse and keyboard or a gamepad. I definitely recommend the latter if you're already used to the Wii U's gamepad controls.
To play: download the zip, unzip the archive and run the executable.
