Nice cover art! The gameplay is slow and repetitive. There isn't anything that makes me want to come back to this game. Sorry!

Ion Insectum is an old school styled 2D side scrolling shooter that gives you the option of completing the game without firing a single bullet! Alternatively you can blast everything that crosses your path. What you do now is entirely in your hands!
The game levels are split into stages where you are given the choice on how you want to approach each mission point, and boss battles. All guns blazing or a stealthy approach, fight the boss or try running from them. It's up to you, but either way - you will be challenged.
Adding #shmupjam01 in here, but this game/WIP/prototype was created over just 48 hours for the Global Game Jam.
