i knew about this for a while, but i haven't seen anyone bring this up, that there's a really low chance that this background shows up during sans' "plea" with the song "bgm_undertale_unused" playing instead of the surface background, and undertale respectively.

Personally I love it, but the dialogues should really be polished more. There are not only typos, but also some words are... unusual for a game character. The whole "venting" and "literally" thing as example isn't usual for a character like this.

(SPOILERS AHEAD)

I played through the whole thing start to finish and honestly it was really enjoyable! Although I did get a LITTLE agitated at Sans's final fight, it still felt fair and manageable. I also like the fact that Sans's fight didn't go into more than one phase like other Disbelief AUs do, it was just a one-on-one fight start to finish. (Except the explosion, but I don't know if Sans pre-planned that or not.)

Normally I would say that I don't like Dusttrust, but holy hell, no take impressed me as much as this one, and I would like to do an analysis and criticism about this fangame. If you don't want to read everything, I'll be brief and give my rating: 8/10.

The game itself:

Great that you created a scary and threatening atmosphere like Dusttale should be, Papyrus fit his role very impressively, however, some observations should be made. Although Papyrus exudes a ominous vibe, the use of a single sprite from the beginning to the end proves that this vibe that should last every time he appears is very precarious and does not last long, yet, the lack of a happy soundtrack and some changes to his expressions make up for this mistake somewhat, so I consider this a W.

Sans showing instability in his emotions during his battle and (spoilers) a suicide at the end shows what LOVE can do to someone, that's a good story that gives you goosebumps. It was not well explained who the narrator would be in the introduction (at least in my opinion), I believe it is Sans, but it should be a point that should be analyzed.

Swaps:

I don't know if there's any reason for Flowey to continue with his role during the game, discarding this fact, it's intriguing the way he participates, his dialogues, etc., it's a very "friendly" assistance, heh.

History:

The focus on the scary instead of the beauty is very good, Sans' battle is very creative for a single phase (as it should be, too), and the schizophrenia in both parts, everything contributes to making the story captivating.

The Asgore encounter is quite fascinating, I liked that you used the slowed + reverb version of ASGORE, however, there are also things that bothers me. The dialogues that match Asgore's frustration don't match the expression he uses, it seems like he's more of a psychopath than mentally exhausted, I also don't believe that Asgore is so careless as to let Papyrus hit him and then think that it was the human who did that blow, but I believe that this is for the purpose of story proceeding.

In short, a great Dusttrust that I believe can make good changes, I believe that based on the other analyses, you know what needs to be improved, but then, kudos to you, you did a good job.

this is cool azzy you did a good job on this also great take on dusttrust
