Neat aesthetic. The random level creation is cool feature. :)
You should checkout out Jan Willem's talk on "game feel". It is basically a list of rad tips for making games feel more fun. It gets good at about minute 10, after which your mind will be blown. In particular, one thing I thought was "if I'm going to be holding down shoot all the time anyway, why not just make the gun fire automatically?".
I never found the cool gun in the screen-shot (although I killed almost everyone).
