Hello everyone! I finally decided to make a GameJolt page for this game since I'm currently beginning work on Chapter 4 and production is still going strong. As of right now, I do not plan to release a demo until the full game is finished. Although, if enough people are interested I might release a demo.

Konazi Island is the story of a young ugly kid and his journey to take down a militant band of fish-like humanoids known as the Gold Team after an expedition to the peak of a mountain. In retaliation, the aquatic troops are sent his way, as well as a gang of highly-trained mercenaries, with the intent of putting this brat in his place. The struggle is amplified ever further when a crazed childhood friend, blinded by nostalgia, is doing everything in his power to find the young boy and take him back home- somewhere he'd really rather not be right now. With three powerful forces going against him, even the kid's unsure if he's in way over his head or not.
The demo of the game currently only features Chapter 1, which is about 3 hours long.
Notable Inspirations:
-off and HOME (The large focus on puzzles and the protagonist wielding a baseball bat)
-LISA the Painful RPG (The choices that mean something as well as affect gameplay instead of just story)
-Earthbound/Mother 3 (The art style)
-Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea (The ocean setting... not much else, though)
The full game will feature:
-9 chapters split into 3 acts
-Difficult battles
-Overworld battles (that don't just take you into a battle screen)
-Puzzles that make you think (for the most part)
-Pretty much no teammates with a few minor exceptions
-An interesting story
