Whoa, whoa, whoa. These graphics are amazing for a Game Maker game. WOW.
The pixel art is nice and the animations flow well. The movement system takes a bit of getting used to (the click-and-hold device is different from any other game I've ever played, really). Also the spells feel similar and the enemies seem pretty non-threatening. Since movement takes up energy that is needed for spells, it seems like the best strategy is just to sit there and blast away while not worrying about whatever the enemy is shooting.
At this point it's a very short little quaint and pleasant non-threatening adventure.
