I was thoroughly impressed with this version of the game! I think many of the changes made to how the game is structured and its plot really improved the experience compared to how it was before. I actually enjoyed my time with it this go around, I found the combat pretty fun, I really liked the way the boat travel worked, sectioning off parts of the world which before, created a very confusing level layout, and the story, while I admit was maybe a bit too on the nose as Disco Elysium-esque, was cool! I preferred it to how strange and sorta disconnected the plot felt before in the original version of Disc One. I do think the artstyle can be quite messy at times, and map designs can be done in honestly quite odd ways, but even with that it was just a nice and fun time!
It's not perfect of course, but what is! It was a pleasant surprise to see a game I really didn't enjoy before be something quite a bit better! Like, 4/10 ---> 7/10, you did pretty good! Even with the bugs that exist currently!
I'm actually quite excited to see what you do for Disc Two!
Best of luck!
P.S. Heartbreak Kid McCoppin is the best McCoppin.
P.S.S In the version I played, there were serious softlock bugs in the building with the Wrestling History Names and the guy you can give a Cigar to. You know the one. Dialogue kept loopin', I was playing Version 1.0.0.

WHERE IS IT
I CAN'T SEE IT FRED, WHERE IS IT?
For a game called Unbreakable, it seems to be fairly broken in terms of bug testing!
In all seriousness; holy hell this game is a breath of fresh air in the era of the Monster Update being NEVER EVER and the newest fangame being the shit post(not shitpost) known as Doleful. Can't wait for more.
Hey where did the old version go? I'm glad the new version is out but I would hate for teh original to become lost media
surely he has just decided to release the game when the minor content update is ready :)
BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD...:
The game may auto-crash when certain songs are supposed to play. This isn't an issue of missing or corrupted files, so don't worry--it seems to be a quirk of how the game comes packaged. To fix it, simply drag the "LISA the Unbreakable - Blood and Sweatsocks Edition" folder outside of the folder you get from extracting the ZIP file and it should start working.
This game is awaiting an update, and while it is fully completable you may run into a few notable bugs, including an optional minigame that may soft-lock itself under certain conditions, a late-game side area with some jumps that work improperly, and unintentionally losing access to said area on certain (highly specific) routes. Be warned!

Make sure RPG Maker VX Ace RTP is installed: https://www.rpgmakerweb.com/run-time-package
For the fancy standard launcher version of the game, open the folder and navigate to (and then run) ~/LISA IS DEAD/mkxp/lisa.exe.
For the legacy RPG Maker version of the game, open the folder and navigate to (and then run) ~/LISA IS DEAD/Game. (Might require RPG Maker VX Ace on your system, I'm not sure.)
If you run into an issue where the game crashes due to "missing" music, don't worry! See the top of the description for steps on how to fix it.

We're planning on a Fish and Taxes update, with a number of small features, fixes and QOL changes.
Features:
The ability to fish in 3 different environments. Catch them all!
A new party member.
New moves for existing party members (ex. for Dolf and Bark).
Party member reworks (ex. for Apollo).
A couple necessary nerfs (ex. for Shingo).
A few small areas that were previously unfinished and blocked off.
Being a tax cheat.
Something I can't quite put my finger on...
-----
The original, heavily outdated demo has temporarily been removed as I try to figure out how to make it not conflict with the more recent upload.
Release date: 6/20/2020.
Features:
4 additional party members.
2 to 3 hours of gameplay.
Search for something lost while battling super macho men, the men in black, and worst of all--owners of legitimate business.
Dreams and personal reflection--and much confusion.
It's been a while! Here's a teaser that isn't much, but should let you know the project isn't dead yet.
