What do you think?

If you like the game, please rate and comment. I'd like to hear some constructive criticism so I know if I'm doing anything wrong (or right).

Thanks to everybody who's played the game so far. :)

Oh, I see what it is. A good old fashioned text based game. Marvelous.

Ooo! Defiantly keeping a lookout for this game! <3

I would love to review this game, but can't manage to Download it. :'(

"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you."

The brain is an incredible organ. When a tremautic experience occurs, the brain typically tries everything it can to erase that. But a missing chunk of memory will have its consequences. Like a ragdoll, the brain will take pieces of other memories and put them together like a puzzle. Except the pieces don't fit together, so the memory is never quite right.

Whatever Samantha's father did to her, it turned her into a barely living creature. All she could perform are basic human functions.

Nobody seemed to care, at least not enough to try to help Samantha get out of her condition. Nobody except the young Dr. Valdis Visara, who was touched deeply by Samantha's case. He knew there was something he could do, and he spent two years researching.

It was in India where he found it: The LUCIDITY Machine.

It was worth a shot, this experimental lucid dream procedure. Dr. Visara believed that if he could help Samantha penetrate her subconcious and recall the experience, that she could defeat it once and for all. And then, he hoped, she would snap out of this.

Little did he know that all it takes is the single act of one monster in waking life to spawn a thouasnd more in the mind.

You're probably thinking that a text based game can't be terrifying like such are the vast multitude of FPS or RPG horror games. After all, what could be scary about a bunch of text? Prepare to find out why you'll be regretting that mentality.

(NOTES: This is an IF, or Interactive Fiction game, that I came up with a few years ago and am now designing. It's still in the design stage, but it will be made in TWINE. If I find TWINE isn't adequate for my needs, I'll switch back to Game Maker and come up with a different solution. Also, this is NOT the super secret project I spoke about in my blog. That game will remain super secret until I decide to release a beta version, possibly for testing only. This game, Lucidity, is a rather simple project that I'm creating while I continue to keep my nose to my notebook and work on the **intricacies of the secret project. Lucidity will have a working demo finished in about a week's time, hopefully. So, stay tuned. It will be a horror experience like you've never seen before.)**
