Hector and his beloved girlfriend, Katie, have been planning an overnight camping date in the forest for weeks. Hard rain and thunder, as well as a seemingly false rumor of a serial killer in the area, cause her to call the date off, telling Hector over the phone that he should stay home. Because Hector loves her, he decides to show up and surprise her anyway. Upon arrival, Hector begins to notice that these recent "forest killer" rumors may not be false after all.
