Keystone Kapers is one of my favourite Atari 2600 games, and this game is a great homage to it! The controls are just as responsive as the original, and the little background details and end-of-level animations are a nice touch.
I really enjoyed the animation at the end of each level.
THIS GAME IS A TRIBUTE, AND NOT AN 'OFFICIAL' GAME CREATED BY GIANT BOMB
Right, now we've got that out of the way, let’s talk. I made this game as a tribute to the wonderful Ryan Davis who many of us miss. It is meant to serve as a small 'thanks' to him, to his colleagues and friends who entertain me on a daily basis, and to a community that produces such wonderful content it inspired me to create something myself! I hope you enjoy it.
Ryan worked for Giant Bomb (http://www.giantbomb.com/) and brought countless hours of charmingly garrulous entertainment to anyone who sought it.
The game itself is a simple homage to Keystone Kapers - a favourite Atari 2600 game of mine - and a number of dumb Giant Bomb related jokes. Use the arrow keys/joypad to move and duck, and the space bar/A button to jump. Dodge stuff, collect stuff and get to the finish!
Thanks Ryan. <>
