LISA the Masterful, made by ocean_on_a_teaspoon and Jerry Conquest, is a reimagining of Taco Salad's LISA the Hopeful, which is a fan game based on the world established by Austin Jorgensen in LISA the Painful RPG. Playing LISA the Painful RPG first is recommended in order to experience the world of Olathe as the creator originally intended and see if the storytelling is for you. However, you do not have to play Hopeful first to be able to enjoy Masterful, though playing Hopeful is encouraged!
STORY
Aloof martial arts prodigy Yogurt Masters never stays with any gang for long. Just long enough to learn their core techniques and then go searching for his next mentor. When every man's life became pointless, everyone had to find their own meaning. But what meaning is there in fighting without someone to fight for? After an ambush leaves him critically wounded, Yogurt witnesses an old friend of his father get kidnapped. His followers, annoying and clueless as they are, need a new leader. It's a bad idea, but suddenly down on his luck as well, a worse idea would be saying no. Now Yogurt and the rest of Rodriguez Creed's gang must face Olathe and all it's absurdity, hostility, and mystery in a bid to get the old cowboy back. None of them are prepared for how much bigger their mission will become.
