Once Again, Liu Kang and the other Earthrealm Warriors have won against Outworld in the second Mortal Kombat Tournament. But the Emperor of Outworld, Shao Kahn will not end his plan of fully conquering Earthrealm just yet.
His trusted General, Reiko, gives Kahn an idea. Invasion. Instead of following the rules of Mortal Kombat, he should take the realm by force. The emperor agrees with his Generals idea and slowly prepares for his attack. Years ago, Shao Kahn invaded a realm known as Edenia and took it's Queen, Sindel as his wife. Sindel's untimely death was unexpected. Shao Kahn's shadow priests make it so Sindel's Spirit would someday be reborn with the help of the evil Sorcerer, Shang Tsung. He resurrects the long dead Queen Sindel and mind controls her into siding with the forces of Darkness. Now Shao Kahn is prepared to begin his attack. After Lord Raiden witnesses an attack in New York City, he knows what Kahn is planning. Raiden gathers his Champions to come together and fight for their planet. They will all defeat Shao Kahn once and for all in the art of Mortal Kombat. It isn't just a fight. Its an all out war....
