Ok, can you put it on mobile. I donโt care if I have to pay money, this should be a console game anyways
Fun game, I was going to try to speedrun it but I can't seem to find a way to reset the save file. :(
Short review - Rating 4/5.
Includes spoilers on story.
What a game.
Mobility is a game I've waited for quite some time. And wow, my expectations weren't far off.
It's a good minimalistic platformer with extensive moves, despite only having a few keys to press. And that's good.
The story may or may not be a main focus alongside gameplay, but for the 30 minutes I've played, I enjoyed it greatly. There's that unexpected twist that I like about the StarFix HQ sabotaging ships for profit.
Where it is short and offers optional challenge, Mobility is a game worth checking out (especially as it is "name your price", therefore "free to play").
In short: Do you like platformers? Fast-paced games? Minimalistic art style accompanied by amazing music? Then try out Mobility!
The good: Easy-but-hard-to-master gameplay, good music, extensive options, tight controls, fitting plot, optional challenges, replay feature, unlockables, overall replayability.
The bad: Potential confusion with menus, short game length.
Note: Didn't run too well on my low-end laptop. Didn't hinder too much with playing though. It's a good game.
Being developed for over a year by @auroriax , with some help from my brother and musician Luke Steinmann, Mobility! is my love letter for the genre after making precision platformers for over four years. For more info, check out the website, or follow me on Twitter.
Explore various spaceships to find the engine rooms, in which you must walk, slide or jump of every platform in the level to reactivate the ship components. The game contains multiple game modes, like 'Radius', where you only need to get near every block in the level to finish, or 'Vanish', where blocks disappear shortly after contact with you.
