Overview
Nanobots: A Journey of Amazing Proportions is a Prototype Demo in development as part of a college assignment for BCFE by Stuart Ryan and Dermot Murphy.
Story
After his son contracts a deadly virus that has no known cure a Microbiologist and his assistant decide to take matters into their own hands to save his son's life. By utilizing experimental technology the scientist journeys inside his son’s bloodstream with the aid of a specially designed ship known as the NanoPod and takes the fight directly to the invading virus.
The player journeys through the hosts veins and arteries as well as major organs while attempting to rid the human body of the deadly threat.
Prototype features
Currently this prototype allows the player to travel through a vein towards the heart while destroying any viruses encountered on the way.
As the player progresses through the level, the host body temperature will slowly rise as the virus takes over the body. In order to keep the body temperature low, the player must kill any viruses they encounter along the way.
The player will have Nano shots and Nano homing missiles available to them in order to destroy the viruses with the ability to grab specific enemies and emit an electrical charge to be added at a later date along with many other features.
