Remember those old flash games on websites like Newgrounds that served as simply a distraction rather than an immersive experience? Here's a new flash game that's no different from the rest.

Neozone is an intimate sidescrolling platformer with gameplay properties inspired by fast paced 2D platformers like Megaman X. No real story elements, just a time trial run through a few stages.

I was focusing mostly on gameplay over presentation as I found it quite a task for one person to balance a game like this with a real life job. But my goal was to make one completed game out of Gamemaker Studio before moving on to other projects and now I can distribute it here while I consider sequels in the future.
