What do you think?

Oh! So what's what a nerf herder looks like.

"Why, you stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf-herder!"
"Who's scruffy-looking?"
―Princess Leia Organa and Han Solo

Fun, challenging, reminds me a bit of Lemmings and I loved Lemmings.

Very cool concept! Fun and interesting. I can see there being a lot of potential here.

My suggestion would be to add some way to separate/cull nerfs by gender. The most trouble I had was getting the right color pair to mate, even when the only options were purple and blue (blue kept mating with blue and vice versa; not game breaking by any means, merely time consuming).

All in all its a very neat and unique concept! Well done so far! :)

This game has a ton of potential. The underlying mechanics, and the game design in general, are great although slightly unpolished, which makes sense considering this is a prototype.

Introducing the player to one new mechanic per level is a fantastic way to get started and to get the player invested in your game. A very smart decision, as explaining all of this in one go would have been too overwhelming for the player.

The visuals could stand to be improved though, especially in the UI department.

And I do think that giving the player access to all the possible different colour combination on that wheel is a bit too much freedom. The colour combinations should be locked to a few specific colours. Having hundreds of different shades of blue, for example, is simply too difficult to keep track of and manage, especially when you get more nerfs on-screen and the game starts to get more hectic.

Great concept overall and tons of potential. Keep up the good work! Really looking forward to seeing where the game goes! :)

A prototype for a game currently in development. This prototype is a demonstration of the core gameplay concepts that will be found in the final game. In its current form it is a puzzle game where you need to breed different colors of nerfs to meet each levels objectives. Build fences, place gates, and food to keep your nerfs alive and get them to breed. Breeding 2 different colors of nerf will result in a new color.
