The original classic - rewritten from the ground up, with more to come!
Nukleor Bombe is back and better than ever! Nukleor Bombe has been rewritten in GameMaker: Studio, allowing for a slew of cut / missing features making their triumphant debut as they were meant to years ago! Listen to the full soundtrack, experience fully animated enemies, and create your own GUI avatar!
Same classic gameplay, whole new polish!
Free from audio stutters and other engine quirks, Definitive Edition offers a faithful recreation of the project that started GNOMESCREAM Games. Defend the Nukleor Bombe from a slew of inter-dimensional enemies, all lead by a familiar foe!
Gameplay differences between versions are minor, such as an increased player walk speed and slight differences in enemy deployment.
New buildings!
Two cut buildings make their return! The Money Generator, which generates additional money every few seconds, and The Landmine, which can be used in a pinch should an enemy be getting past your defences! Landmines can only be placed on the enemy path, while money generators follow standard building rules.

Twice the game... eventually!
Upon it's completion, Nukleor Bombe: Definitive Edition will boast two gamemodes; Classic - a remake of the original - and Definitive - an all-new game following the original prototype and story outline from the project's very beginnings. In it's current state, only Classic mode is included. A future update will introduce this new mode in the future. The release of this update is TBA.
Avatars - the first steps into customization!
The avatar system, planned for the original as a polish piece, finally makes it's debut in Nukleor Bombe: Definitive Edition! With some time and artistry, anyone can make their own custom avatar spritesheet and use it in-game!
To use this feature, locate the folder "nukleor_bombe_definitive_edition" in %localappdata% on Windows. An "assets" folder should be found there after booting the game up for the first time, including an "avatars" folder. This folder should come with a pre-included "Default" avatar folder, containing an "avatar.png" file inside of it to get you started. It's as easy as copying the folder and renaming it, and then editing away! Note that each folder must contain an avatar.png file within it to load.
Early Access!
I know... that's sort of a bad word these days... but quite frankly that's sort of what it is! Experience Classic mode today in version 1.0 of Nukleor Bombe: Definitive Edition!
