Ofringen

Ofringen is a horrror game that aims to take fear and panic to a deeper psychological level. Intense first person gameplay lets players connect with the surrounding environment and characters. The game is set in obscure woodland and the unexplored, where there are countless opportunities to fight demon children and escape the wrath of the lost youthful souls that roam the Earth. Players must seek the end of the metaphorical tunnel by making their way through the forest, abandoned mansion and darkened landscape. The game is designed to throw players into the deep end, with limitations that allow them to fend for themselves. Finding a way out may not be so easy, but holding on to your sanity proves to be a harder task.

We are a group of Highschool-students that enjoy both horror movies and gaming. Thus, we decided to get together to create Ofringen. Although the horror-gaming scene has brought forth some rather good games lately, there is something missing. We like to think of it as the "Amnesia experience", referring to the first time we played the game Amnesia. It was new and revolutionary. Something that is rather rare nowadays. This is the experience that we aim to create with Ofringen.
