this is pretty cool! the game performs well, has a cool artstyle, interesting and quite addictive gameplay and a very good battle system! it kinda reminds me of crypt of the necrodancer, another roguelike where you move on a grid, but Once upon a Dungeon 2 is a unique game on its own!
i also love the slavic culture influence - i myself hail from russia and this game gains a certain charm by having references to my country's culture! very good!
my only complaint is that the options menu doesn't work - when you press ESC in-game you can either continue or save and exit the game, because you can't enter the options menu. also, it would be nice to be able to go into options on the title screen - but those are just minor problems, overall the game is good, i hope i'll be able to see more of it in the future) alas, take care and good luck in game making, Koto!
I thought I fulfilled my duty - the dungeon cleared, head of the Fallen One delivered to king's court. Clearly I must have overlooked some of evil servants. Moreover, while escaping they took Slavic gods statues with them, master controlling them, thus becoming powerful foes. Now I'm blamed of evil spreading around the country and forced to sort it out. It's gonna be tough ... #rpg #roguelike #turn-based #dungeoncrawler
