Ready for Freddy?!

Started playing this game today. I'd love to continue but there are a few big issues that I'd like to be fixed before I can continue. Note that my only experience with the game so far is playing nights with each individual column of animatronics all set to 10. Issues ordered from most to least annoying:

  1. The coins are far too rare for the frequency of the characters who require them, and the way they appear is extremely annoying. In Ultimate Custom Night, coins appear immediately on cameras upon switching them, allowing for easy finding and collection. In this game, they randomly pop up a few seconds after selecting a camera, meaning if you're actually playing the game you will almost always switch cameras before any show up, or worse, you'll switch cameras just as they show up.

  2. XOR is far too active at 10. Feels like she's past 20. It's especially bad with her having a mechanic that requires very rarely spawning coins. (Also, what's the point of XOR and Dee Dee being two characters with shared AI? This isn't a balance issue but it makes no sense. Why not just have them share a slot??)

  3. Nightmare Afton is way way way too fast. You basically have to be already watching the monitor immediately when he shows up, or you won't be fast enough to get him. Doesn't help that he has no audio cue.

  4. Power seems to drain a bit too quickly to be fair. On a night with just one character using the left vent, one using the right vent, one using the doors, and two using the monitor (this is an exact night I did), with what I feel is mostly necessary usage of my devices, the power still runs out before the night is over. I think on this night I could get through it, but with any characters who require other stuff on top, there's no chance. Maybe there could be a Power Generator tool?

  5. Mini Bonnie is also too active on 10. Feels like 20. Also, his description is a little misleading; it says failing to click him five times consecutively will lead to death, but 'consecutively' implies failing to click him five times in a row, when it really seems like he kills you when you fail to click him five times across the whole night.

  6. Nightmare Scrap Baby just seems a bit too active at 10. She feels more like 15 to 17. Honestly this is the one issue here that doesn't need to be direly fixed, I just thought I should mention it with the others.

Unfortunately, as every preset in the game includes one or more of those big problem characters or mechanics, I cannot complete any of them. (EDIT: as of commenting this. I have beaten Spring is Here) So please fix! I actually find the game pretty fun when these issues aren't present!

Overview

Description:

Is this a dream, or, is this a nightmare? Or somewhere inbetween the two? Who knows!

Make it personal! Face up to 30 different characters in the 'comfort' of a closed-in office space. Seek various power-ups and coins to help aid you during your challenges, and most importantly, to beat the creatures! Will you make it and find the conclusion?

General Description:

This isn't a full direct remaster or reimagining of Post-Shift CN, but a release of the pre-existing version from the past with some new changes made to the game.

Much remains the same in certain regards. Characters that weren't finished in the past have now been added into the game, along with some new features that didn't exist in the original and postponed version.

This is a definitive version of the CN.

This game has a planned released for May 2021.

Developer Notes:

Despite P-S CN being cancelled for well over two years now, I've decided that I'm going to release what had been put together back when I was still actively working on it (with new changes and additions). Content that wasn't added in at the time has now been put into the game, along with a few small secrets thrown in for players to find after completing challenges!

Certain aspects and features of the game may be unpolished, but I thought this would be interesting for those who wanted to see what the CN was going to play like those couple of years ago. Regardless I hope this will be an interesting experience!

Important Notes:

  1. This game is a PC & Windows only game, there will not be versions, adaptations, or ports of this game to any other platforms coming from myself.

  2. I will make updates now and then if needed, mainly if there is anything game breaking, but those may come at a delay whilst I'm working on Post-Shift 2.

  3. This game may be virtually 'impossible' on the hardest mode.

  4. This game is best played with headphones!
